Instead of sending us your initial Flatrate payment, we have you to send it to our affiliate bank that will issue you your credit card.

For example, if you sign up for service at Flatrate-Utilities.Com with a $400 assigned Flatrate, Your actual credit line on your new card would be $480 to $1200. That is 20% to 300% increase above what you put in and covers most or your entire membership fee with Flatrate. We check at the start of each billing period to be sure that your credit card or bank account can be charged for $400. Your credit card or bank account is not charged at this point, but only “pre-authorized”. This pre-authorization reduces the available credit limit on your credit card or bank account by the amount pre-authorized. If your available balance is $80 or $800 above the Flatrate at the time of our pre-authorization, then that is all the usage you have at that point. We charge ONLY the pre-arranged amount on your credit card or bank account while obtaining “pre-authorization” for your designated Flatrate limit for the billing period.
